STAR LIGHT, STAR BRIGHT!

STAR LIGHT, STAR BRIGHT.. FIRST STAR I SEE TONIGHT! I WISH I MAY, I WISH I MIGHT HAVE THE WISH I WISH TONIGHT! THIS OLD ADAGE HAS BEEN WHISPERED SO MANY TIMES WHILE LOOKING UP AT THE NIGHT SKY. HOPES, DREAMS, AND TEARS MAY HAVE BEEN STREAMING DOWN ONE'S FACE WHILE THE KIND CHILD- LIKE HEART DARED TO DREAM! ONE MIGHT WISH, PLEASE LET ME GET INTO COLLEGE. YET ANOTHER MIGHT ASK TO BECOME A MOMMY. THE WISHES THAT HAVE BEEN WHISPERED FIRST FROM THE HEART AND UTTERED TO THE SKY ARE A FORM OF 'FAITH'. GAZING UPON A CELESTIAL BODY SUCH AS A STAR LEAVES NO DOUBT IN MY MIND THAT GOD DOES EXIST! AT TIMES LIFE IS OVERWHELMING AND A STROLL DOWN THE STREET TO AN OPEN SPACE WHERE THE NIGHT SKY IS VISIBLE CAN ONLY LEAD TO A GAZE TOWARDS THE HEAVENS. AWESOME WONDER, PEACE AND TRANQUILITY AWAIT ONE BY SIMPLY GAZING AT THE HEAVENS! IF ONE DOES NOT HAVE A DAILY WALK WITH GOD, THE PERFECT CHANCE TO START IS BY WISHING UPON A STAR. ISN'T THAT A LITTLE BIT SUPERSTITIOUS, YOU ASK? I THINK NOT. GOD CREATED THE STARS, DIDN'T HE? AT TIMES, ONE FEELS THE NEED TO 'CATCH' A GLIMPSE OF GOD. STANDING OUTSIDE, LOOKING UP AT THE STARS MAKES ONE FEEL THAT GOD DOES EXIST! IF HE CAN CREATE SUCH BEAUTY FOR US TO GAZE UPON THEN WHY CAN'T WE FOCUS ON AN OBJECT SUCH AS A STAR TO SIT AND TALK WITH HIM! I AM BY NO MEANS INSINUATING TO 'WORSHIP' THE STAR, BUT TO TALK TO GOD WHILE LOOKING UP AT THE STARS. THESE SPECIAL LITTLE MOMENTS WITH GOD CAN HELP YOU CREATE A STRONGER 'WALK' WITH HIM AS YOU DEVELOP DAILY DEVOTIONAL TIME. PRAYING, READING THE BIBLE AND STRIVING TO BE A GOOD CHRISTIAN STARTS WITH A SINGLE STEP! WE GET SO TIED UP WITH DAILY STRUGGLES AND LIFE, THAT SOMETIMES GOD IS NOT PART OF THE EQUATION. SPEAKING FOR MYSELF AS WELL AS OTHERS, LET'S START 'SPEAKING' TO GOD BY DOING THE SIMPLEST LITTLE THINGS SUCH AS LOOKING UP AT A STAR.... AND WE'LL SEE THAT DEVELOPING A 'DAILY WALK' WITH HIM WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AN OBLIGATION! THIS IS MY 'THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX' METHOD OF ENCOURAGING MYSELF AND OTHERS TO SEEK A STRONGER PERSONAL WALK WITH GOD! GOD BLESS AND I HOPE YOU 'GET ME!' ;) THANKS, SANDRALEE

Inspiration! Just to reach one!

I just watched Ugly Betty that we recorded last night. Although be it JUST a show, it actually INSPIRED me! Coincidentally, Betty also started her FIRST blog! She made up in her mind that if she reached at least ONE person, it was all worth it! Sad to say, she inspired her boyfriend to take a 6 month tour to help Africa, but she did reach ONE! I was a little bummed out that my Facebook friends joined my K.A.T.S.S. (Kiss a Tear Stained Star) by Josiah's Love and SandraLee Page but didn't comment or post NOTES! I even posted a status that I was disappointed and not one person responded. I see how a PAGE that supports Domestic Violence Victims and Mothers who have lost babies due to Miscarriage/Stillbirth would disturb some people. My point is that we are all adults and they are to support me for having gone thru it and any other person that might have gone thru it also. Is it that they are afraid or ashamed to say that it 'happened to them' or have a superstition if they become involved in such a page that it might 'happen to them!' Domestic Violence and losing babies is not CONTAGIOUS! I am NOT wanting to come across as rude or whiny, I just expected MORE support! Yet, I must not lose sight of the fact that If I 'build it' then 'they will come!' I should consider myself blessed that my FB friends actually did join the Page! This is God's blessings that are underway, so I am not going to start off by being negative or whiny! So, thank you friends who joined K.A.T.S.S. and feel free to comment or post at ANY time!! Hello, my name is Sandra Lee and I am new to blogging! I am expecting great things in my life for the Year 2010! God's promises will come to pass and I will be restored! I recently lost a baby at 20 weeks pregnant in July. His name is Josiah Daniel and he is my tiny Angel in Heaven!
